Extremely rare desk designed by Alex Linder and produced in Denmark in the 1970s. The design is a remarkable example of carefully considered functionality where engineering and form merge seamlessly. The wide top is finished in black leather and framed with aluminium, resting on a solid metal base. At the centre of the desk is an integrated aluminium module containing several built-in elements: a rotating desk lamp, a clock, a mechanical timer, an ashtray and compartments for pens and small objects. Each function is recessed into the surface, forming a single cohesive composition. This combination of workspace and instruments gives the desk an almost cockpit-like presence — a carefully organised workstation where every element has its place. The result is a rare and highly distinctive design, both technically and visually. A striking Danish design from the 1970s where precision, materials and functionality come together in a unique way. In good vintage condition with light signs of use.
