DS-44 two-seater sofa by De Sede, dating from the 1970s and upholstered in the Swiss manufacturer’s characteristic thick neck leather. The broad seat, rounded armrests and gently rising backrest form one continuous line, divided by vertical stitching. Years of use have given the substantial leather a rich patina, with natural tonal variations, creasing and marks adding depth to the surface. A comfortable two-seater in which the solid form and aged leather are well balanced. In good vintage condition with visible signs of use and patina consistent with age.
