This Danish lounge chair, model PJ56, was designed in the 1960s by Grete Jalk for Poul Jeppesen and is a fine example of refined Scandinavian seating from that era. The slender teak frame clearly reflects the craftsmanship Danish design is known for, with carefully rounded details and an elegant, well-balanced construction.
The chair retains its original wool upholstery in a warm beige tone, which is in very good condition and pairs beautifully with the teak wood. The seating is generous and comfortable, while the overall design remains visually light and understated – a balance this model achieves particularly well. The chair is fully original and in very good vintage condition. Two identical chairs are available; the price is per piece.
