Rare dining set consisting of an oval table and five chairs, designed and crafted by Marc van Rampelberg in Kenya in the late 1980s. The set is made entirely of solid Muninga wood, an African hardwood known for its warm color and rich grain. After travelling through Africa for many years, Van Rampelberg settled in Kenya, where he began working as a furniture designer. His work is defined by a search for ‘oneness’ — designs that appear to be sculpted from a single piece, with flowing, organic lines. Produced in small series, this set is in good vintage condition with minor signs of use and a warm patina consistent with age.
