Set of two bedside tables from former Czechoslovakia, dating from the 1920s–1930s. Although they show signs of wear, they remain highly decorative pieces. Characteristic features include the curved top that flows seamlessly into the side panels and the original Bakelite knobs on both the drawer and the door. The visible wood grain is hand-painted onto the wooden structure, a typical technique of the period. Both cabinets have been finished with a new high-gloss varnish.
These bedside cabinets show light signs of age and use, consistent with their history.
