Elegant two-seat sofa designed by Carlo de Carli for Cinova, Italy, 1960s. The design is defined by a refined tubular steel frame with smooth, continuous lines. The subtle variation in diameter – slimmer armrests versus a more robust base – creates a light, almost floating appearance and clearly sets it apart from other tubular steel sofas of the period. The sofa has been reupholstered by the previous owner in a deep blue velvet fabric, offering a rich contrast to the cool steel and adding a softer, more luxurious feel. Loose cushions provide additional comfort and a relaxed seating experience. In very good vintage condition.
