A rare postmodern sideboard from the ‘Brera’ series, produced by Cassina in Italy in 1982. Made of painted wood and finished with a solid slate top, creating a strong dialogue between the dark, architectural body and the muted, mineral surface above. The clean geometry is subtly articulated by vertical details and a balanced composition of doors and drawers. The interior offers a practical layout with shelves behind the doors and a central drawer unit. The construction is exceptionally solid, reflecting Cassina’s high manufacturing standards of the period. In very good vintage condition with minor signs of use consistent with age.
