Dutch Art Deco armchair from the 1920s/30s, crafted from solid oak with a leather seat. The design is defined by its balanced proportions and clear emphasis on construction and material honesty. The backrest features a decorative coromandel wood accent, executed in a composition with vertical lines, giving the chair a refined and graphic character. Closely related to the Hague School and showing clear affinities with the work of Hendrik Wouda, the chair conveys understated strength and craftsmanship. In good vintage condition, with light signs of age-appropriate wear.
