Rosenthal Life-Service cabinet set by Jochen Flacke, Germany, 1980s. Rare postmodern set designed for Rosenthal Einrichtung, consisting of two mobile service units and two rear panels / worktops. The left unit features an integrated cooling compartment / minibar, while the right unit has several pull-out drawers, trays and open storage. The flip-up tops, metal hinges, black lacquer and grey metal inset surfaces give the set a distinct 1980s appearance. A functional and well-considered design, executed in heavy quality and marked “Life-Service – Design: Jochen Flacke – Rosenthal einrichtung”. In good vintage condition with light signs of use consistent with age.
